Bill
Hill's Ice Cream Shoppe Hours:
Summer: 7 days a week, 10am - 10pm Located at the mouth of Twelve Mile Creek, Bill Hill's Ice Cream Shoppe is well worth setting aside a whole afternoon for. Stop by for an ice cream and you may decide to leave with a picnic basket, a freshly prepared lunch, a blanket, and directions to a great picnic spot in nearby Bronte Creek Provincial Park. If it's just a cone you're looking for, the marina, waterfront promenade, beach, and a jungle gym for the kids are all worthwhile places to linger in the heat with a delicious ice cream treat. Bill Hill's
is Bronte's oldest business, established in 1947. At 82 years old William
James Hill still runs the grocery he started alongside the original barber
shop structure, which dates back to the turn of the century. A thousand
square feet of antiques and collectibles and a huge old country store
complete the setting of this charming parlour. Thirty-six flavours of ice
cream, milkshakes, slushes, smoothies, and penny candy suit the atmosphere
and surroundings of Bill Hill's. Sandwiches, bagels and salads are
available from the picnic basket café all summer long. With forty-eight
hours notice a picnic can be freshly prepared and ready for you right
away. HOME | PARLOUR NAME | LOCATIONS | MAP | KEYWORD SEARCH
